"3 jours en famille à 16 personnes. Emplacement de rêve, spacieux et tranquille. Les chambres sont assez éloignées du grand salon ce qui permet d'être au calme si la soirée se poursuit. L'ôte est serviable et gentil, prévenant et à l'écoute. Un grand merci pour notre séjour."

"La Remise is located in a small town surrounded by vineyards and rugged hills. It's so quiet at night you can hear your own heartbeat. The terrace on the upper floor is completely private and has comfortable furniture for lounging. Pauline, the owner, is a top-notch hostess, taking care of every detail with friendly efficiency. It has old world charm with modern conveniences. Perfect!"

"The accommodation was superb. Unfortunately we had to curtail our stay. The approach to the property was very narrow and the situation was on a valley terrace.We worried about our dogs safety.The owners (hosts), were excellent, very pleasant and sympathetic. As we wanted to do visits on a daily basis, the thought of driving on the narrow access road at the end of every day deterred us."

"An excellent choice. Right by the canal, to spend many happy hours just watching the boats go by. There were only two of us, so plenty of room. Very well equipped for a self catering holiday. Bedrooms are huge, as are the beds, which were very comfortable. Shower rooms large and super clean. Welcome pack amazing, and further items during our stay. "We stayed in one of the gites. The surroundings are stunning- distant views across the Herault in a wonderfully renovated building. Autumn chestnuts all around and calm surrounds. About 15 mins drive from pretty Olargues. Le Chene backs on to another gite and when this was occupied, we could hear everything they were doing. "First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night. "A wonderful huge property, extremely well equipped including a pool table. The house manager met us (as arranged) and guided up through the facilities of the house. The village of Margon does not have any shops though there are lots at both Pouxelles and Roujon each just 2km away. Margon does have an excellent restaurant. It is also perfectly placed to enjoy lakes and mountains and the coast. Finaly it is only a short drive to the medeival cities of Beziers and Carcassonne."

Wonderful experience! Cool old prison
"Staying in an old prison was a very fun experience. The art work and furniture is all very cool. It was a little hot with just the ceiling fan. Pool was wonderful! Amazing views!! We lucked out with parking and got a space up top and just left our car there for three days. About 20.00 a day. The restaurant was good and there was another really good one by the fountain near by. Staff at the hotel were all very nice and helpful. Would recommend "
