Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Ohaba?
The best area to stay in Ohaba for a premium experience is typically within the village centre or the immediate surrounding countryside, offering a blend of traditional village life and convenient access to local attractions.

The village centre of Ohaba provides a central base for exploring the area. You'll find a few local shops and eateries here, and it's where the main road through the village, DJ107K, runs. This area offers a genuine glimpse into Romanian village life, with traditional houses and a relaxed pace.

Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will appreciate accommodations slightly outside the village centre, located in the surrounding hills. These spots often provide expansive views of the Apuseni Mountains and offer more secluded settings, superb for unwinding. You can enjoy walks through the pastoral landscapes directly from your doorstep.

For families, staying closer to the village centre can be convenient. It allows easier access to any local amenities and provides a good starting point for day trips to nearby attractions such as the Râpa Roșie geological reserve or the city of Sebeș, both a short drive away.
