A hidden gem!! Close enough to the beaches (a 5 minute walk), but tucked away on a quiet winding street. The architecture around the hotel is gorgeous. My room was huge and had a balcony which allowed me to take in the views of Nice in the morning and evening. Highly highly recommend staying here. It feels like you’re in your own private Villa and the price is extremely reasonable especially considering the quality of the hotel. I plan to come back!

Cleaning was very good but with schedule even if we were in holiday and we wanted to sleep. No bar, no restaurant, no parking (just on the street). Nearby the beech. Overall it is good for the money value

To answer to you , we remind you that we adapted the hotel with rules of covid 19 . shops around the hotel in 5 minutes , restaurant and bar in the Promenade and in the area in 7 minutes . Tramway station in 5 minutes its not bad to walk with to lovely sun in Nice ...

Nicholas was a great host. The property is 5-7 minute walk to the Promenade de Anglais and other attractions. The hotel is clean, quiet and parking was convenient. Safe area to walk from the center.

Relaxing stay at Villa Les Cygnes
Nicolas was very helpful in checking us in, and was so friendly when he welcomed us. We loved the room and, the bathroom. They were very clean, nicely decorated, and had plenty of space. The location was great, and within walking distance of the city center in Nice. Our favorite part was eating the breakfast Nicolas prepared for us in the garden, and visiting with his "assistant," an adorable chubby cat.

Sweet little guest house in Nice
We had an enjoyable 3 night stay at Villa les Cynes in Nice. The staff were very friendly, offering help and recommendations. Hotel was spotlessly clean! Was a little further from the centre of town, perhaps a 30 min walk, but was very easy by bike, which are very cheap and easy to hire in Nice, so not a problem for us!

Carnival trip
We spent a pleasant and relaxing nine days at Les Cygnes during Carnival. The location is a half hour walk to old town and the transport links are close by.

The room was beautiful and very clean. The veranda room was nice to sit and relax. It was quiet. Easy to get to the bus stop and close to the beach. Nicholas was kind and welcoming. Breakfast in the garden was good.

It was a nice hotel. Good French breakfast was available. Also soft and alcoholic drinks were available at a decent price. It was pleasant sitting in the garden having breakfast. It was close to the promenade also. On the downside it is a long walk to the old town. There were no English tv channels available.

Nice est de ville de plus 360000 habitants ; Afin de faciliter vos déplacements il existe tout un réseau urbain de bus ( 1,50 €) à prix modiques c'est très facile ; il suffit d avoir un peu de bonne volonté pour les utiliser !! google traduc Thank you for your stay. Nice is a city of 360000 inhabitants; In order to make your trips easier, a whole urban bus network (€ 1.50) at a very low price is very easy; just have a little good will to use them !!

Beautiful small hotel in a lovely converted home. Our second floor room had huge windows and French doors to a small balcony. In a beautiful quiet neighborhood walking distance to the Nice waterfront promenade. Great breakfast served outside in the garden. Beautiful bathroom, very comfortable bed. Loved it!

Great stay in spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Very quiet location but easy walk into nice centre and the old Town and very handy for The Promenade des Anglais and its buses. Nikolas was a super host and was welcoming and informative. This is a small, characterful hotel which we would recommend and would return to if in Nice again.

Great little hotel
Very small hotel in a quiet neighborhood just a couple of street from the Promenade with easy access to public transportation. Since it does not have 24 hours service, I would not recommend it for needy guests. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is available with extra charge and it was the best we had in our week long trip.

Clean and comfortable in great location
Excellent hotel! Very clean and comfortable place to stay. We stayed 5 nights and I got the best sleep ever after our days of exploring the reviera. Short walk to promenade and quick uber to train station. Excellent breakfast at the hotel.

Lovely house in a quiet suburb of Nice. Lovely room, very quiet and spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Would definitely stay again and would thoroughly recommend. Nicholas was very helpful and breakfasts in the pretty garden were delightful.

Comfortable small hotel in a quiet neighborhood
Villa Les Cygnes is a small hotel in a quiet neighborhood just outside the busier parts of Nice. It is a designated quiet hotel that lived up to its claim. We had a standard garden level room (1) with a view into the patio and breakfast area. The room was clean, comfortable, updated, and big enough including a large bathroom with shower. All flooring was tile. The air conditioning worked well, and there was a very small TV that we didn't use. There were few people, even for breakfast so there was no issue with noise. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. I believe that at least some of the upper level superior rooms include a balcony and free parking but we were informed that there was no parking available with our standard room. Since we didn't have guaranteed parking, we returned our car to the airport before checking in and took a taxi (35 euros, 15-20 minutes) to the hotel. Since this was our last stop in France and we were flying out of Nice in two days, we didn't need a car, and returning early saved us some time on our early morning departure flight. On arrival, the friendly manager, who spoke English well, greeted us. He explained hotel policies, gave us a map and showed us the route to the promenade, beach, and restaurants. Note that this hotel is not staffed 24 hours, so check in times are restricted (until 8PM and closed for lunch), but you may be able to arrange a late check in. I definitely recommend this hotel but may consider a superior room upgrade.

A lovely room in an older house in a quiet residential part of Nice. Spacious and well planned accommodation, very comfortable. Perfect for 2 sharing individuals. Our host was welcoming, consistently friendly and gave lots of local information. Huge breakfast!

The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood with a charming garden in back where breakfast was served. The room was clean and spacious with simple but attractive furnishings. Nicholas, the proprietor, was an attentive, charming host. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at this charming, very small, hotel in a quiet neighbourhood, yet close to the Promenade des Anglais and the beach. It is around 20 minutes walk away from the old town but along the promenade by the glorious blue sea so not a problem. Lots of buses also run along the promenade which is around 7 mins from the hotel and bus fares are very cheap!

Lovely boutique hotel in a quiet residential area near the Beaux Arts museum. It's relatively close to a thoroughfare with restaurants and the Promenade, but a fairly long walk from Vieux Nice. About a 20€ taxi ride from Nice Ville station. Room was wonderful, with nice decor, twin luggage racks, comfortable bed, private balcony, and double vanity in the bathroom. The tub was nice but due to limited water supplies in this low-rain area, the plug is disabled to prevent drawing a bath. The only other problem is the folding shower door does a poor job keeping shower water off the floor, making it a little hazardous getting out sometimes. The front desk has limited hours, so check to make sure it will be manned when you arrive. We found it easier to communicate by email sometimes!

The host, Nicholas, is very attentive. This guesthouse is in a quiet neighborhood, very close to Musee des Beaux-Arts. Best to travel by car or taxi. We were only in Nice a very short time, but the room was confortable. The building is very old and there are doors and fixtures that are delicate and/or can't be touched. Wouldn't be comfortable for small children.

Beautiful hotel steps from Musee des Beaux Arts
I had a beautiful, quiet room overlooking a tranquil garden. The host is wonderfully kind and full of helpful information about the area. The hotel is located in a residential area about a 20 min walk from the beach--no problem if you enjoy walking. More accessible by car, but still pleasant on foot. Highly recommended if you want quiet and more residential charm.

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the Superior rooms with a balcony. Spacious room, very attractively decorated, with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. I prefer to avoid chain hotels when travelling for pleasure - this was perfect. Good breakfast. I should mention the friendly and helpful owner - all in all memorable stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was great. The room was cosy and had character, so did the whole little hotel. We would stay there again, even though it is a some distance from the centre of town.

We had a very nice room with a lovely little balcony. The hotel manager was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served outside in the courtyard with yogurt, pastries, juice and hot tea and coffee.

Lovely boutique hotel
This is a wonderful oasis in the heart of Nice. The location, which is just above the noisy streets and Promenade makes a peaceful retreat, yet the Villa is located just a five minute walk away from the beach and a 20 minute walk from the old town. The breakfast is lovely and fresh. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and large. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic French hotel
Wonderful experience. Small boutique hotel with 7 rooms. I travelled with my wife and we felt we were living in our own apartment. Big size rooms, several with balcony and great little garden for breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel and will for sure visit again next time in Nice.

Booked this hotel due to great reviews. It is more like a B&B, being very small, but it is very comfortable and well located for the city and beaches. Nicolas manages the hotel pretty much on his own from what I could tell and he does a very good job and his English is pretty good. I would recommend for couples looking for a clean above average sized room in Nice in a B&B/small hotel that is good value.

I booked a two night stay at Villa les Cygnes after reading all the excellent reviews, but had to wonder...could it really be that good? It was, and more. From the warm welcome from Nicholas, to the large, comfortable, quiet room, to the excellent breakfast served in the beautiful garden, it was outstanding in every way. Nicholas was a friendly, enthusiastic host. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood, just up the street from the Museé de Beaux Arts. It is a 5 minute walk down to the Promenade des Anglais, then a 20 minute walk along the Mediterranean on the beachfront promenade to Old Nice. When the day or night is done, you can escape the busy-ness and retreat back to the quiet oasis of the Villa.
