A fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to make delicious meals, plus bonus items like a waffle iron, mixer, blender, coffeemaker, and a dishwasher. Between walking the sands on the coast and walking along the two main areas, old downtown Newport and Nye Beach, along with visiting some of the historical sites, we couldn’t have asked for a better time. We arrived late at night and absolutely loved that we could hear the sea lions off in the distance even though we couldn't actually \*see\* the bay until the following morning. The space felt absolutely perfect and cozy and we really loved sitting at the kitchen table in the morning over a home-cooked breakfast, sipping coffee and staring out at the spectacular view. Felt like we had complete privacy and were out of the touristy fray, but within just a couple of minutes of everything Newport has to offer. Thanks to the host for a perfectly stocked and updated bathroom, excellent DVD collection, and full array of cooking utensils. Only note to future guests was that the pantry is pretty much fully bare (no essentials like spices, oils, etc. Just salt, pepper, and sugar). I gave the feedback and maybe they'll update that, but just be mindful that you'll likely have to bring or buy those items if you plan on doing any cooking while staying here.
