This authentic log cabin will captivate folks that want to escape the city for a fun filled weekend. Within 45 minutes from the Twin Cites, close to both Stillwater and Hudson as well as Willow River state park. Many golf courses, ski resorts near by. Find your getaway on the east side of Bass Lake in Wisconsin. If you truly do appreciate the craftsmanship of an original log cabin experience, then this is the place for you!

We absolutely loved this cabin. There were 5 of us, for a short family getaway, and we stayed during a show storm, which made the cabin even more cozy. The fireplace kept it warm, but even when the fire was out, the entire place was still comfortable, even on the lower level, despite the wind and cold temps outside. All of the beds were perfect. The 3 youngest of us even braved the outdoor hot tub in the snow, and had a great time. We made all of our meals in the well stocked kitchen, and enjoyed several of the books and games. Reggie was friendly, communicative, and helpful, and he even came over as we were packing to leave, to snow blow the driveway and make sure we could get our cars out. We can't recommend this cabin enough, and really hope to stay again.

Reggie met me in person to give me a tour and explain everything with the cabin. He was very courteous and kind and answered all my questions. I was there for a family funeral, and this cabin was absolutely perfect for me, it was very nostalgic and reminded me of my childhood and memories of my parents growing up. The beds were very comfortable; there was a fan for every room which was awesome. The hot tub was nice to use. The kitchen was stocked very well with everything you could need. The decor was so perfect for me and loved looking at everything! I will definitely book again and hopefully for a vacation next time.

Great place!

The cabin was fantastic and Reggie was super responsive when we reached out to him. The place had everything we needed and we hung out on the pontoon on the water everyday. Watching the sunsets on the boat was beautiful. And the lift down to the water from the house was very convenient. Very close to Stillwater, Hudson, and New Richmond if you want to go into town. We would stay here again. We highly recommend it!

Perfect Catch!

The lake cabin was a wonderful retreat for our family reunion July 1-8, 2025. We are so happy we rented the pontoon! We enjoyed fishing throughout the week, but the perfect catch was a surprise to all of us when our nieces boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed marriage to her while 4th of July fireworks were going off overhead around the lake. Amazing Weekend Getaway

To start, the Host was very accommodating to our schedule and we were able to start our wonderful getaway a few hours early. We arranged a time to meet and check in and he was right on time. The home was very cozy and had lots of different things for the family to do. Very peaceful location and a great view. Wish we were able to spend a couple more days away with the family but we were able to make tons of memories in only a short amount of time!
