Quality of the room did not match the cost of the room. I’ve stayed at that place before and I feel like it has declined over the years. The rooms used to be better appointed and cleaner. It feels old dated and neglected now.

My wife and I had a wonderful two-night stay at AWOL Stowe. From the moment we arrived, the front desk attendant (Riley) made us feel welcome. He was incredibly friendly and shared tips and recommendations that helped us make the most of our visit. The hotel has a cozy, relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. We especially enjoyed being so close to the Stowe recreation Path. One of our favorite hotel amenities was having complimentary elevated breakfast. Loved the amazing homemade bread each morning. We had an amazing ride along the Stowe Recreation Path, another trip highlights was taking a dip at Glenn Moss Fall. Overall, AWOL Stowe exceeded our expectations. The exceptional hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful amenities made for a memorable stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Stowe!
