"Misleading advertisement that showed there was a desk in the room (we reserved 4 rooms). We were on a business trip and the three most expensive rooms we booked - which was pictured with a desk - did not have one. No toiletries provided except for soap. And no room cleaning - apparently you had to request it. Reception lady was so unfriendly and cold."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Nemeskocs?
The best time to visit Nemeskocs is during the late spring (May-June) and early autumn (September-October) when the weather is pleasant and the natural beauty of Vas County is at its peak.

During these months, you'll experience mild temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the countryside and enjoying outdoor activities without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. The spring brings blooming wildflowers and lush green landscapes, while autumn offers beautiful foliage and comfortable conditions for hiking or cycling through the surrounding forests and vineyards. This period also often coincides with local harvest festivals, providing a good opportunity to experience regional traditions and cuisine.

For travellers who enjoy warm weather and don't mind higher temperatures, July and August are also suitable. This is the peak season for enjoying the local lakes and thermal baths, which are popular attractions in the wider Vas County area. However, it can be busier, and accommodation might require booking further in advance.
