« We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus! »

He explained where things were, where to locate the garbage cans outside, and gifted us with a delicious cheery fudge made in Door County!The kitchen was clean and well equipped. We wanted to grill on the first night but didn’t know we should have brought our own charcoal. Andre was gracious enough to lend us the lighter fluid and charcoal. »

« Stayed 10 nights and the house is fantastic! Spacious, clean, well stocked for meal prep needs! Two fridges came in handy for our family gathering. Area is great for morning walks, grill available for cookouts, beach chairs and bikes were used often. Would highly recommend and the host was incredibly responsive. »

« Communication with the owner was easy. They were very responsive and offered good suggestions for what was in the area, which was a short drive to anywhere we had planned to go. The entry and parking info was clear and easy. The unit was beautiful and homey. The amenities were even better than the description and the bed was amazing! It was so comfortable! We were surprised that the did not supply coffee, tea, sugar etc, but the owner informed us it was not permitted, so it’s not their fault....

« Had an amazing time staying at the Milky Way property. Group of friends all enjoyed this beautiful place with an amazing view of Lake Michigan. Having a large hot tub and access to kayaks and firepit were some of the highlights we utilized during our stay. Place was well cared for and in great condition. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely return to this property when we visit Door County again! »
