It’s only a few minutes walk from all of the main sights of colonial Quito. The best part of Hotel Basilica is the staff. "This has to be my favorite hotel in Quito! The location is centered only a few blocks from La Plaza Grande and accessible to everything! The owners were extremely friendly and hospitable! The breakfast that comes with the rate was top notch for a continental breakfast! I was in a beautiful room with a balcony that looked out to the Cathedral and the surrounding streets. The hotel is safe and the staff will go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. This will be my hotel of choice every time I stay in Quito!"

Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The arranged for an airport pick-up for us and also an early morning ride to the airport when we were leaving. Delicious breakfast included as well. "

The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even more comfortable.
