"The place is marvellous, peaceful, and very relaxing. It has a great deal of character and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast is first-class, and the restaurant is beautifully designed. I couldn't have asked for a better breakfast. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the Market Square, making it very convenient for exploring the area. One small suggestion for the hotel: there are two small bottles of wine placed in the wardrobe, but they are not complimentary. As this could be confusing for guests, it might be better to keep them in the minibar instead. This would help avoid any misunderstanding."

"The best things about this hotel were comfortable beds, a good size room and excellent staff, especially the lady who checked us in. Onyeka (not sure is this spelling is correct) greeted us warmly, and gave us waffles and a chance to win free parking on a spin the wheel game, which we did! She also gave us great recommendations for a restaurant in Bruges and suggested a stroll by the water that was absolutely charming. Best check in yet! There were a couple of things needing some attention, the bathroom was tired and the bath was very slippery when using the shower. It would have been nice to have proper cups/mugs instead of plastic cups in the room for hot drinks. Overall a good stay for a brief trip to Bruge."

"Overall we had a lovely stay at Carpe Diem. We only had two observations regarding the property:1. It's not clear from the listing that the only access to the first floor is via what can only be described as a ladder; or that the master bedroom can only be accessed by going through the second bedroom, and that, for all intents and purposes, they are the same room. Travelling with our children neither of these things were too much of an issue for us, but had we been two couples and had anybody with mobility issues, this would have been a significant problem.2. The bikes were a big attraction for the booking for us and, in the end, we used them plenty. However, there are no tools or spares associated with the bikes which was problematic given one had a puncture on our arrival. We ultimately lost half a day of our holiday attempting to purchase spares and tools in order to be able to use the fourth bike, which was far from ideal. A set of basic tools and some spare inner tubes would have avoided this.However, overall, they are minor gripes and we had a lovely week in a lovely part of Belgium."

"Highly recommended for overall design quality, very pleasant room and exterior facilities. Breakfast is exceptional. Host advices regarding the activities and places to visit are excellent and accurate. Centrally located to all the attractions around Bruges and the Belgian coast. Alternatively, a very quiet and remote location for just resting, biking or walking around the calm countryside."

"Eine sehr schön eingerichtete, geräumige Wohnung mit Garten. Sehr sauber, nach einer Woche bei längerem Aufenthalt wird gereinigt, ein toller Service. Ein sehr freundlicher, jederzeit ansprechbarer Gastgeber. Ruhig gelegen an einem Waldgebiet. Zugleich sind Brügge, Gent und die Küste mit dem Auto schnell erreicht. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt."
