Stefano is the absolute greatest at taking care of travel details- we arrived at 1am from our flight and there was a crib set up with cute little blankets and a pillow for our toddler. He texted us before we arrived through the What's App to help us check in virtually. He also recommended many amazing restaurants for us and placed a takeout order for us one night since our Italian is non bueno! This was also a fantastic stay for the price. "Our stay at Borgo Mandoleto was towards the end of a couple of week sin Italy. What a great way to wind up the trip! Donnatella and he husband are marvelous! Donnatella is a wonderful cook, I highly recommend eating with them at every opportunity. The property is just outside of the small village of Solomeo, near Perugia. It is quiet and relaxing. We made friends with Mema, the kitty in residence, and she was fine company as well. There is a beautiful pool, unfortunately it was too early...
"This property is so beautiful and the food at the resturant was fantastic. Our only complaint was the spa, the sauna was great, but the hottub was lukewarm and there was so much chlorine it made our eyes burn and we had to get out almost immediately.

"A wonderful stay on the border or Umbria and Tuscany. Good position within 1hr drive to Siena, Montepulciano etc and within easy reach or the nearby lake for watersports, cycling and loads of options for restaurants at lots of price points. The lake is best swimmable by boat as the lake shore is quite barren and muddy. Depends on your priorities.The house itself is amazing and the back garden one of the best spots for cooking and views we have ever been. Simply stunning inside too with everything you need for a comfortable stay.The hosts are attentive when necessary and have left so much information for local services and town visits, so helpful. "
