Private but not remote. New construction, this charming little cottage is fresh and unique. Warm, colorful and friendly with a nice combination of new and antique furnishings. Comfort is our primary focus, king sized bed, all cotton linens, sparkly bathroom, large deck with view, beautiful tile and granite kitchen and cozy living room. There’s also a queen sized aero bed that can be rolled out on the deck if you choose to sleep under the stars. Walking distance to Indian Rock Vineyards and tasting room.The evenings are filled with the sounds of frogs and crickets, turn off the lights for great star gazing. Deer, turkey, quail and rabbits are frequent visitors. We grilled and sipped both our evening wine and morning coffee on the deck-watching the antics of the resident hummingbird. Bed was very comfortable! Nice bath and toiletries. The kitchen was perfect. (Note that there is a microwave but no oven). Secluded and yet close enough to town. We will be back! ##### Laura D. Granted it doesn’t look like much from the outside - just a little modern house, isolated in the hills above Murphys - but open the front door and you step into a jewel. This home has been decorated with the best of everything. Beautiful fabrics and furnishings, lovely artwork and rugs, soft cotton linens and towels, upmarket kitchen small appliances. Plus the owners kindly provided a basic pantry, including coffee for the early morning sunrise over a glorious forest view. It has a lovely deck with BBQ if the weather permits. Jul 7, 2021 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great place We loved the decor in this property and all the little extra touches (toiletries, coffee, extra linens etc) We did have some trouble with the internet and the owners ordered a new gateway which will hopefully fix jt. but TMobile cellular service worked well but Verizon did not. The patio was the highlight - great place to eat dinner and grill and it was safe enough for our 3 year old to be on. It's not walkable to downtown (uphill and very hot in July) but it is a short car ride away. The town of Murphy is wonderful with a lovely creek for kids to play in and super friendly town and neighbors. They even invited us to the neighborhood block party! ##### Grace C.
