"Great location with spacious room and friendly staff. Gym and pool were great. Bar and restaurant Carsten’s were also great with excellent service. Only complaint is their “ecolo” program. I really don’t mind not changing sheets and towels for 3 days but when you agree to it, you also agree to no room cleaning. I’m happy to keep things tidy myself but then you need to chase them for coffee, soap, toilet paper… etc. In exchange for agreeing to this ecolo program they give you a 10 euros food voucher at their restaurant/bar. Really not worth it. A reasonable discount should be applied to the cost of the room if there is no room service/cleaning which is nice to have when on vacation or business trip."

"Contemporary hotel. Very easy checking in. One of a kind hotel and room. Very clean room but small. Super helpful staff. Did not see recycling which was disappointing. Maybe I missed it."

"This hotel is near the river cruise ship docks and about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It is well located for exploring Amsterdam, or travelling out from there. The room was of good size and very comfortable. A great hotel for our short stay!"

"Wonderful location and a great room with a terrace. Lighting in the room is not good at night, but the bed, the quiet and the location make up for all that’s missing. We would stay again!"

"Update to earlier review: Overall, a pleasant stay. The issues were simple items to fix. But don’t book the Cosy room or other rooms (301-4) on 3rd floor if you have difficulty with stairs & carrying luggage. 2nd floor has elevator."
