Perfect spot to stay if you’re just looking for a room to sleep in. Great breakfast and coffee too!

This place is basically a bed in a room with not enough floor space for 2 small individuals to enter at the same time. You literally open the door, it hits the bed, then you close it step into the bathroom so the next person can enter. My niece and l are both tiny people 5’3”. How this passes as a hotel room I don’t know. There is no room to put your luggage, one of us had to go out into the hall to pack when we were trying to pack up to catch our flight. There are no windows anywhere. There really isnt anyone at reception ( its self check in on a computer). If you have an issue you can bother the one person cooking meals out front most of whom were not friendly in the least. The neighborhood is a construction zone, you can tell where you are staying because it's between the 2 massive cranes visible from far off. From the looks of it all the rooms are like this. If I can add my tour of the room video I will- its awful.
I did not realize upon booking that it was not a room but a space with just a bed that took up the space of the entire ‘room’ from wall to wall and no window. My dorm room was bigger in university.
great place to stay. Be aware its VERY small however it has all the basics and is well designed for the space it has.The only thing I'd suggest is a minifridge. I personally find it handy to help cut down on costs for meals/snacks. only one metro stop from Amsterdam central station or a 10 minute walk to the ferry which gets you to the station as well.
It was very clean but this was the tiniest room ever! Not enough room to open even a carry-on suitcase except on the bed which was built-in and took up 95%of the room. We only had two carry_on suitcases and there was barely enough room on the floor for them. The bathroom was small but very modern. There were two hooks there where we had to hang our clothes. The only think you could do in the bedroom was crawl into the bed which stretched from wall-to-wall which is somewhat challenging for senior citizens.
Cute capsule hotel. Lovely, spacious bathroom, with main room essentially the size of the bed, with under bed storage for luggage. Clean and efficient and well laid out. Sound insulation was fantastic, we had some great sleeps. Be aware that if you travel with more than a carry on, this likely is not the hotel for you.
Call me old school - I prefer humans rather than digital technologies. I like to be checked into a hotel by a person not a machine. I like having a drinking glass in my room, I like space on each side of my bed. I like having access to WiFi
We recently stayed at this hotel and had a generally positive experience, with a few things worth noting depending on your preferences.
The property is located in an emerging area that initially feels a bit industrial, but we quickly felt that it was safe and conveniently situated. It's within easy walking distance to both the ferry (free) and metro, which made getting around easy. There were also several good restaurants nearby, which added to the overall convenience.
One of the standout features was the staff - consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful. The all-day breakfast offering was a great touch. The hotel itself is clean, with high-tech check-in and room access that made the stay feel seamless and efficient.
The room, however, was a bit unexpected. While the bathroom was quite spacious and well-designed, the bedroom area was noticeably COMPACT - just large enough to accommodate a queen-sized bed. That said, the room was thoughtfully laid out with good lighting and practical storage solutions, including under-bed space for luggage, which helped.
Overall, this was a solid choice given that we were in Amsterdam during the popular Tulip Festival and most rooms had doubled in price. After we got over the 'initial shock' we were very happy with the choice.
Zu zweit also sehr eng.
I was worried about my windowless room but it was surprisingly undepressing. Staff were great. Cafe was great, although they were about to change the food menu so i can’t vouch for it now. Location is pretty walkable, but it depends on what you want to be close to. I loved that there were bikes for rent right at the hotel.
