« Was a wonderful place to stay for our girls trip. House was very clean and mattress were so comfortable. Great town with good restaurants and very friendly people. It is everything you could want in renting a house for the weekend. »

« We boat on Lake Shelbyville and the property is very close to a ramp. House was nice. Kitchen was very well stocked! Several extra amenities! The garage was an A+ with the extra fridge, grill and utensils. The only thing that I could pick at was the lawn desperately needed to be cut and the firepit was in a weird location on the side of the driveway. Nothing to not want to stay again! I would definitely return!! »

« We (3 generations) spent a lovely, relaxing 5 days here to attend Millikin’s Spring Graduation. The house was great. Very spacious! The kitchen was stocked beyond my expectations, and the view was amazing. We SUP’d, kayaked, and fished (caught 2). I especially appreciated the Roku TV’s that automatically log you out of your accounts at the end of your stay. « The house was amazing, with beautiful views, and plenty for space for 7 grandchildren and 8 adults. The cooking and bathroom supplies were greatly appreciated. ☺️ The location was perfect for the children's zoo and museum with having 7 children 5 and under. The kids loved running around in the grass, some canoed with dad, playing the games, eating outside, and seeing the geese, ducks, and the boats. « We had a nice stay at the Holiday House. The decorations made it extra fun! We had 3 adults and 5 small kids — it was nice to let the kids play with toys and in the yard while adults hung out. The hosts were great! We had no issues with our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond when we asked for a recommendation for St. Patrick’s Day festivities. »

« This property was amazing!! We were in town for my son's wedding and this was perfect for us and our adult kids/spouses etc. The furnishings are beautiful and this well appointed space had everything we needed. « The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and the best of 4 rental houses we have stayed at in Decatur. The owner is VERY responsive to the very few issues we had. The house is well stocked with plenty of towels, supplies and spices/condiments, with great TV's and plenty of social space. Very comfortable with good light, and well maintained. Air conditioning works great also, and very comfortable. »
