We were particularly impressed with how well maintained the property is, it’s like a wooded park - no deadfall or underbrush and what there was is neatly piled up. The paths are wide and cushioned with wood chips from the owner’s saw mill. The cabin is beautifully appointed and everything you could possibly need has been provided. The cabin was very cozy and clean and had various thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The beds were especially comfortable and the fireplace inside kept the place extra warm. The hosts were incredibly attentive and very helpful with everything, always ensuring we had everything we needed. Our daughter loved it, especially the toys and books they set out for her. Doug was an amazing host who welcomed us on arrival and answered any questions we had about the area. He even supplied us with an extra cot for the cabin. He went above and beyond. If you want to be out in your own private forest, as far as you can see… this is it. Except you’re not too far away from anything you need. It’s far above glamping- it’s ‘luxury’ camping. The cabin has everything along with a fantastic fire pit and firewood.
