It's located on a (mostly) private 4 acre lot with several lakes, the Birkenhead river nearby and is only 35 minutes to Whistler Resort. It's the ideal base for skiing, mountain biking, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, and golfing. We offer several experiences or can suggest activities and destinations in the area. Please note, This is NOT a "party house". ALL guest (Maximum 6 adults + 2 kids) must be registered. (Not 8 adults - Special exemptions upon request ONLY) Rates are based on 2 people plus an additional fee/pp/night. Access is via a keypad/key combo which allows access to the Chalet. The loft, skylights, fireplace, and back porch were my favorite parts. We loved grilling in the evening and sitting by the fireplace at night. The lookout point was great for stargazing too. I will say one bathroom for five people was a little difficult and the ladder to the loft is pretty narrow (less than 1ft) and steep. This was not a problem for us but it may be for others. Good information provided about cabin. I would say from pictures we assumed (our mistake) that one bedroom, living and kitchen were on ine main floor and we could see a loft to other bedrooms. We did not realise there was a flight of stairs up to main floor. As two women of 62 and 71 with some mobility difficulties it was a challenge. We left suitcases in down stairs bedroom as no way could we get them up the stairs. Our mistake but Maybe should be spelled out in description as photos led ius to assume otherwise.
