« Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in! »

« I have zero complaints about our stay at Timber Ridge. The view really is “Million-dollar”! Only two real bedrooms but the double bed in the game room is comfortable. Deck is beautiful and the fire pit area is very nice. Well appointed kitchen and host was very helpful. Will return if I come back to the Boone area! »

« This was a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. The cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces around the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. We would return in a heartbeat! »

« The cabin is very spacious and clean. It has everything you need including kitchen supplies, entertainment ( movies and games), bedding, and a wonderful porch. It is located in a very secure area close to Linville Falls and Caverns. Our host Greg responded very quickly to all of our questions. I would highly recommend for any family event or retreat. »

« I absolutely loved my stay. The property manager was communicative and so kind and the place was exactly what I was looking for. I loved the outdoor spaces as much as the indoor. It was so nice to sit back on the porch to relax, read a book, and listen to the stream. I also enjoyed the proximity to town and some of the sites I wanted to explore. Definitely will plan to be back someday! »

« Beautiful location and off the beaten path. Take whatever you want to eat for the stay, cabin has well stocked kitchen. Fishing was so so for the first few days, then it was stocked the last day which improved the fishing. We were catch and released so there should be some for the next guy. Would go back »

« Do not be fooled by the lack of reviews. This property was amazing. My boyfriend and I booked a short week stay and it was not enough. The host was readily available to answer all our questions and communicated where everything was in the cabin, down to the light switches. There is everything you could need. « Really loved Banner Elk and the surrounding area. The cabin was perfect for us. The firepit area and back porch were our favorite spots to hang with weather in the low 70's everyday. Hiked the Boone Fork Trail (5 miles) with our dog and it was the best hike I have ever taken with rivers, mountains and all types of things to look at. The cabin is really fun as well. Everything works and was clean. We had a great week! »

« We had a great time at the treehouse! There was more than enough room for my family of 5. We all had so much fun. Beautiful view. The only thing that i could say is. There wasnt enough curtains to cover all the windows. They had a sign that said leave door locked for bears (paraphrasing) and my kids were terrified at night. They were worried about bears looking the windows. LOL but thats how kids are. Also, my 4 year old came to the mountains dying to see Bigfoot. And they had Bigfoots height...

« This home was the perfect place for us! We had a large family gathering with multiple ages and interests. There was something for everyone! I think every game was played and every room used. The kitchen and patio grills/griddle made it very easy to cook for the large crowd. The kids of course loved the slides and playhouse within the house. Exploring when we first arrived was so much fun. The views were amazing from the porch and it was a private location. Would highly recommend this house! »

A wonderful discovery
"This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here! We also fell in love with this charming town, which we didn't know at all! It's pleasant to walk around and there are many restaurants and small shops. We were on our motorcycles and the hotel was within walking distance of everything. We highly recommend it to anyone!"
