With over 12,000 sq ft across 3 levels of expansive living & entertaining spaces, 7 sleeping areas, and 8 baths (6 full/2 half), the home comfortably accommodates up to 24 guests. Set on nearly 10 acres of level ground, the estate features a long list of luxe amenities including amazing upper and lower private heated pools connected by a waterfall, hot tub, theatre room, workout equipment in the garage, 2 kitchens, and gorgeous views of 2 lakes.

THE SPACE
Enter the three-story residence via the grand foyer with sweeping spiral staircase on the main level where the social spaces impress with easy flow between rooms. You`ll love the expansive open floor plan with high ceilings and light-filled rooms graced by windows overlooking the waterfall pool.

The massive chef’s kitchen is a cook`s dream with 2 islands, ample counter space, and a deluxe housewares package. Host business dinners or formal parties in the elegant dining room that is accessed through the butler’s pantry and retire to the living room after dinner for drinks by the fireplace. The residence’s incredible primary suite is also on this floor and features a king-size bed, separate sitting area, and gorgeous bath with a jacuzzi tub, double sink vanity, and impressive walk-in double shower with 2 rain shower heads. There is a private office, laundry room, and 2 ½ baths conveniently located on this level as well.

Head up the grand staircase to the 2nd floor which features 3 king ensuite bedrooms and additional office space on the landing. The ground floor walk-out level is a fantastic place to gather with a billiard room, theatre room, wet bar, 2nd kitchen, family room, gym, 5th king bedroom, and 1.5 bathrooms.

If you are looking to host a wedding or special event, our 10-acres of level fields with lake views are the perfect site for hosting. Have a cocktail reception by the pool or set up specialty tenting on the grounds for large dinners. The estate is great for getaways, too, with our 2-level waterfall pools, hot tub, multiple terraces & verandas, a covered patio, and BBQ grill. The spacious yards offer plenty of room for kids to run or enjoy a game of football, soccer, or frisbee.

Getting here is easy, too! Located just an hour southwest of Chicago nearby Morris is a charming town with lively events & festivals, a collection of specialty shops & boutiques, a mix of both locally owned and nationally recognized restaurants, and year-round outdoor recreation. This is a delightful place to escape from the city and connect with nature, enjoy a slower pace of life, and make special memories with family and friends.

The home is perfect for most events or parties of almost any size. Inquire with host for event fees and rules.

The pool opens for the season at the end of April and closes for the winter mid-October. The hot tub remains open year-round for guest enjoyment.

If you plan to bring a pet we do charge a fee. To avoid fines, please ensure your pet has been added to your reservation. Notify our team to include this information if your pet was not added during the booking process. It`s $300 per pet per stay to bring them along.

Any evidence of smoking inside the home will incur a $1000 cleaning fee.

For the safety and security of our guests and the neighborhood, there are external security cameras in the following locations on this home:

1. Doorbell
2. Upper rear balcony left
3. Upper rear balcony right
4. Lower walkout level back door
5. Garage and driveway area

These cameras record exterior areas only and hold the information for 30 days. Footage is only reviewed in the event of a break-in or any potential house rules violation. There are no cameras anywhere inside the home.
We have exterior cameras located at the front door facing the driveway and fountain, garage showing the driveway and garage entrance, and upper deck showing the deck and pool area (there are NO cameras inside the home).

The base rate covers the first 7 people. Each additional person is just $30 per person/per day. This is applied to anyone age 3 and over (kids 2 and under are free). The fee is applied to anyone that comes to the property (not just those staying the night). The extra person fee covers additional wear and tear to the property and amenities, additional professional cleaning/disinfecting, increased use of the internal plumbing, electricity, and other utilities, etc. Want to bring a pet? No problem, it`s just $300 per pet per stay.

No smoking inside the house or garage. Evidence of smoking inside will result in a $1000 fine.

Other general rules:

1. Respect our neighbor’s property and do not trespass into their yards or driveways.
2. Keep the noise outside to a reasonable level at all times.
3. Quiet hours outside begin at 10:00 pm and lasts until 8 AM.
4. Any outside amplified music must be preapproved by host.
5. Cars should be parked in the garage or on the driveway. There is ample parking for several cars on our property. Absolutely no street parking permitted.
6. Fireworks are prohibited on the property.
7. Neighbors are aware that guests often stay at this home. Please treat them with respect and courtesy as you would the people in your neighborhood.
8. Please lock all doors and windows
9. We are not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay.
10. Pets must be kept on a leash when outside (Max 5 pets).
11. The home may not be occupied by more than the capacity allowed by code.
12. No off-road vehicles are allowed on the premises.
13. Refund Policy: 100% refund up to 30 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 14 days before arrival.
14. Please do not attach anything to the walls or ceilings with tape, tacks or anything else as this can cause damage which you will be charged for.
15. Please place any moved furniture back in its original position. A $100 fee will apply if all items are not properly reset before checkout.
16. The pool is usually open between approximately mid-May and mid-October depending on the weather. If your reservation is near this time of year, please confirm with us that the pool is open for the season if you intend to use it. During the season the pool is kept at 75 degrees. If you would like the pool temperature turned up, the cost is $25 per degree per day. Please let us know at least 1 day prior to check-in so that we can be sure the temperature is set
for you. The hot tub is open year-round, and the temperature is separate from the pool and goes up to 104 degrees for no extra fee. Our maintenance team comes at least once a week to ensure the pool and hot tub remains in great shape for guests. They will typically be in and out within a half hour or so.
17. Pets are NOT allowed in the pool or hot tub.
18. An additional fee of $200 will be charged for guests who arrive early (before the designated check in time) and also for those who check out late (after the designated check out time).
19. Cancelled reservations will be charged 3% to cover credit card processing fees.
20. You must be at least 25 years old to rent this home.
21. You will be charged an additional $500 for neighbor complaints.
22. You will be charged an additional $500 if security is dispatched to the property.
23. You will be charged an additional $1,000 if the police is called to the property and
you will likely have to vacate the property immediately without a refund.
24. You will be charged a penalty of $500 plus $60/person for everyone on the property
that was not included on your reservation count to be on the property.
25. Guests are required to sign the rental agreement prior to check in. Check in instructions will not be sent if the rental agreement is not signed.

We stayed for two weeks to see various family members who came and went as schedules allowed. Overall, the house is great on many levels, if lacking in a few specific areas. First, the great, the hosts are incredibly receptive, friendly, helpful and gave the distinct impressions that they want to make your stay as good as possible. The common spaces are wonderful as well as the main pool, with plenty of space for people of all ages to enjoy themselves. Next, the good, the dining rooms were great with lots of dishes and cookware, but it seemed to be spread all over the place so we had to track it down. Also, an ice machine was broken, there was nothing to protect the wooden dining room table so we got our own placemats and table cloth to address it. Also, it seems some areas in the house are a little tired, which the owners seem to be addressing as they can. Lastly, the not quite as good: the lower pool was leaking (which the owners made us aware of and were fixing), the wifi went out, but they restored it with an alternate network, and in case you can't tell, the lower rooms with bunks are all part of one main room, so it says 7 bedrooms, but for all intents and purposes, it is 5 with 2 joint bunk rooms. The good in this stay far outweighed any issues, hence the 5 star review, and I always say the best way to tell good vs great hosts, is when things go wrong. In our case, little issues were dealt with immediately, and our stay was filled with wonderful memories! Thank you.

Our trip was fantastic. We had a few questions when we checked in and Dean/Team were very helpful and informative. We spent the majority of our time in the theater and it was all you could ask for. We plan on making this our annual house for our yearly guys weekend.

Family Reunion

We were looking for a spot where we could hang out as a family of 16 coming from 7 spots around the US and Canada. This house worked well with plenty of bedrooms for adult children couples with ensuite bathrooms. Large bunk room for children, in door game/activity space and lots of outdoor space with a great pool for activity. The kids loved the over-the-top palace feel of the mansion. Kitchens were very functional as we ate every meal in. Lots of places to sit and eat. Company was very good about communicating and responding quickly.

Off the beaten path!

Our Kingsmen volleyball team had the perfect place to unwind after some grueling matches. We had a theatre to use to scout our opponents and a jacuzzi to help the soreness go away. The guys were able to spread out and get their studies done while being on the road... I even found out I have a few guys that can play the piano! With trips every year to the area, we hope to continue the partnership and be back in 2025! The place was perfect! (other, doesn't work above in the field choice)
