It was a great central location to take our day trips from to Grand Junction, Ouray, and Telluride. It was also a great location for spending time at the Black Canyon National Park as it was only about 20 minutes from the South Rim Visitor Center. The house feels like you're on a ranch in the country with a few neighbors, but in reality you're about a mile from town, so its really convenient. She had stocked lots of extra kitchen essentials and bathroom essentials to help make your stay more like being at home. Everything was very clean and Meredith was very responsive to our questions we had during our stay. If we ever get back to this area, we will definitely stay here again! ##### Karyssa T. This property was the perfect setup for a multigenerational group. There is a large open living space with plenty of room to eat and relax. The bedrooms are located on either side of the living space allowing some privacy and quiet time. The views from the house are wonderful. There are outdoor seating areas both in the front and the back that were great for outdoor eating. The location was close to stores and a short ride to the park. Our family came to Montrose to visit relatives and were looking for a cozy place to stay during the trip. We could not have found a better place! In fact, the teens even said this was their favorite place out of all the VRBOs we have been to! The living room is spacious and comfortable with vaulted ceiling. There is a large table to eat or play board games (which are also supplied by the host). Each of the beds had comfortably memory foam mattress. The views from the panoramic windows were awesome. Communication with the host was clear and very responsive. The place is a little off the beaten path but we had clear instructions and that should not be a deterrent for anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable modern cabin getaway.
