Older place but very clean, quiet and easy to get to (one block off highway). Staff were helpful and very friendly Beds were comfortable. Grab and go breakfast could have offered more. Very good price. Will stay again.

The owners are outstanding with their hospitality and helping you find things. The lobby was decorated very nice, the continental breakfast was good, coffee was delicious. It was unbelievably quiet considering that they were full Friday and Saturday. It is a hotel I would return to. Another plus are the two restaurants on either side that are really good!!! Old Main Eatery in Elk River is a short drive and really good food.

Our 2nd stay at Americas Best Value Inn in Big Lake! Best staff/owner ever! We travel weekly with our son’s band and have stayed in hundreds of locations all over the Midwest. This property is so well staffed and maintained beautifully not to mention the kind hospitality and welcome from the owner who went above and beyond to make our family comfortable during our stay. I’m hoping that the band will book more shows in the area so we can return soon‼️ Highly recommend this property for travelers!
