"One of the best places we've stayed on the River. The location in Monte Rio was just perfect as it was close to everything such as markets and restaurants. The interior with the old knotty pine walls brought home the feel of the Russian River of earlier times. The kitchen was a chef's dream with anything the "foodie" could want. The decor had an 60's/70's vibe with vintage furniture, carpeting and lamp shades which really fit the place. The hot tub was awesome and a great way to unwind after a long day. Can't say enough good things about this place and we highly recommend it."

Access to kayaking and the forest was a huge plus. Property is kept with the understanding the house is beneath trees and there will be leaves / dust. Staff were very pleasant. Decor and food were ok. Overall, we left happy."

"We had a great stay! The place was super cute and cozy, and being right on the water made for such a beautiful setting. Communication with the host was also great throughout our stay.One thing to be aware of if you’re planning to spend a lot of time in the water is that there isn’t really easy dock access. You are right on the water, but getting in and out can be a little tricky, especially for kids, who would definitely need adult help.Checkout also had a few more requirements than we’re used to, such as washing the used beach towels before leaving. Nothing major, just something we hadn’t experienced at other rentals before and worth keeping in mind.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a super cute place in a beautiful location, and we would definitely come back!"
