"Staff were wonderful and welcoming and we were upgraded to a room with a balcony. Views across the water were lovely! Also, very walkable to restaurants and the Montagna and the medieval town. Unfortunately, construction/renovation within the hotel (top floor?) started around 8:30am and was quite disruptive. We had already been woken up at 8am by the loud 8am daily flag raising ceremony at the US naval base across the street."

"The place itself is a gem and huge, with all sorts of facilities. Unfortunately it's located in a rough area of the Campania region. Staff is ok. There is plenty of opportunity either to just relax and sunbath or to do sports (from riding a bike to water activities). The night pool is a treat. Extras include a sauna, a resort. "We used this as a quick weekend away to visit Rome and Naples and so didn't use all the facilities. The hotel was good. We did not expect it to be so far out and taxis were expensive. So don't use this hotel if you want to be near the city centre. The bed was very hard but the room was clean and it was cleaned whilst we were out which was nice to come back to. The pool and facilities did look well kept though. My wife has a nut allergy and so breakfast was a bit limiting as most options contained nuts or looked like they probably would do. "
