You will hear noise of the demolition of the existing stucco and may have swing stages and workers on the east side exterior of the building outside the windows. For the duration of the project, the courtyard (east side) and portion of the upper parking garage will be closed for access. This condo is located in the middle of the east side of the tower.

Stay was nice, the description explained the work going on the property (rebuilding the pool) so it wasn't a surprise thankfully otherwise I would have been a little upset. Enjoyed the stay weather was nice, and didn't have any red flags this year. The beachfront views were nice even just being on the second floor.

Not worth it pick something else

The security guards and most other staff are extremely rude we were turned away 3 times and talked down to before I ask to speak with someone else and the new guy said oh this is easy here is your parking pass lol There is black mold on the ceiling of the shower kitchen is far from equipped king size mattress is sitting on two twin box springs and is by far the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on prepare to leave your vacation sore the washing machine broke and flooded the entire unit on the last two days soaked and all of my things I also cleaned the whole mess my self and now I have to drive home with smelly wet clothes in the car and they don’t want to do anything to compensate for our ordeal

The ceiling in the shower is moldy looking. It will just wipe off. The handle to flush toilet is loose. But overall it’s a very nice, comfortable place to stay!

Property is old and needs of lots of renovation. Office chairs in the living room? shower did not drain. no beach chairs and umbrella. Mattress on the bed was so very hard and uncomfortable. Couch was filthy with stains. TV was too small. Not many kitchen utensils at all, could not cook. Balcony was crowded with dated furniture. The location was the best part of this unit. It could be a real gem but right now the place is a mess.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay here! We really have no major complaints about the condo. I didn’t even notice the “dirty” carpet that others have complained about. We did have to buy hand soap because there wasn’t any which was a little surprising. The view from the balcony is even better then displayed in the photos. The beach was crowded but that didn’t bother us and we still always found a spot. Also the condo being on the 2nd floor ended up being preferable because we could use the stairs and avoid the elevator crowds which there were a lot of because one of the elevators was out.

The condo was spacious! View was great! The patio door was unlocked upon our arrival. Kitchen was not stocked very well, bedroom carpet was very stained and some tv channels were not working. Called Platinum to have repairman come, but problem was not corrected. Overall, stay was fine.

Birthday Getaway

Sandestin Resort Community is large and well maintained. The Resort is located near beach, shopping and entertainment. Traveling alone, I felt safe my entire stay. The condo was clean and accurate to the listing. The beach view from the condo is amazing! A few steps to the beach or the pool. Platinum Vacations, Property Manager did an awesome job keeping me informed of check in process. Due to a construction mishap, a water pipe burst and the building was without water for a day. I made one call to Property Manager, they responded quickly and once issue was resolved, they applied a credit to my account for the inconvenience. If I decide to visit the area again, I would stay at Beachside Two again.

This is a very nice one bedroom condo. It could use a little updating, such a larger smart TV's. Also the outside patio could use a good cleaning. All in all great views and spacious.

We loved sitting on the balcony every morning and evening for meals. The view was really the highlight of this unit and why we chose this rental. The downside was the mold issue in the bathroom. We just ignored it and enjoyed the great weather and location.

Outdated condominium/ updated unit

You could tell that the owners had put some updates throughout and was kept clean, however upon entering we all noticed a mildew smell... which a plug in couldn’t mask. The shower ceiling had mild/mildew all over it and this is what I looked at almost the entire time in the shower. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and hope to be back at a later date.

Great view, depressing unit.

Dirty carpet, ugly, old furnishings, black mark on ceiling from vent, dimly lit, ice maker didn't work, clock didn't work. Not worth the money. I won't do this again.

Very disappointed! Black mold, disgusting worn out and stained mattress and carpet, etc.

We were very displeased and disgusted with the room! I took dozens of photos of everything from the black mold to the stained and broken down mattress that was so uncomfortable we barely slept! I was planning on posting the pics to this review but of course you can’t post them on here. The air conditioning filter was so old and dirty it was blowing black dust out of the vents and it left a nasty dirt trail across the living room ceiling! The carpet in the bedroom was so stained and torn up that we never walked on it without having shoes on! The laundry/hot water heater closet outside the bedroom door was full of mildew and black mold and was partially painted and just nasty! The list goes on and on! We paid way too much for 3 nights and it was a huge rip off! I am a business owner and I would never mislead a customer into pre paying for a misrepresented product and then overcharge them like this owner does! When you read the fine print of the rental agreement it says you have to report any problems within a short time after you arrive. I was unaware that I should have inspected the room right away since we were on vacation and exhausted from traveling. The photos of the room they post online before you rent it don’t show all the problems with this condo so beware! Anyway, a full or at least partial refund would be great but I doubt if that will happen! Bottom line, DO NOT RENT!!
