The Laurel Grove Cottage has been our place to go to for the last 3 years.

The cottage is our favorite after being in different places all over Sandestin.Working with Beach Blue Properties is always a pleasure.Willing to accomodate you in every way.

Wonderful place

Great place and very clean! 2 golf carts were fantastic, no more than 7 minute cart ride to beach, restaurants, grocery. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay at a great price!

The property was the perfect place for our family vacation! Having 2 golf carts was an added plus! We ended up having to move our original dates and the property management team was very responsive and accommodated our change. We will definitely try to stay here the next time we are in town!

Laurel Grove

2nd time we have rented this house. We like the location and pretty much everything sandestin has to offer is a hop in the golf cart. The house is clean and has quality furnishings inside.

Very comfortable

Nice place as described on the Vrbo site. Only wish they would supply dishwasher soap, trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels. It is a big inconvenience when you have to go to store to pay for that, especially when you only need a little bit of each. Great location. Great having two golf carts that never gave us any problems at all. Near the pool and hot tubs. Near shopping, restaurants, tennis, golf amongst other things. Would recommend.

Laurel Grove cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Being prior Laurel Grove homeowners at Sandestin, we were very familiar with properties and location. That being said this home needs housekeeping attention - in particular to cleanliness of floors and dusting. The floors appeared to be clean; however, after walking, barefoot on the floor for a short time, we discovered that the bottoms of our feet became discolored from lack of mopping. Also, parking is a little tight at this particular property, despite the description referencing a cul-de-sac. I would not define this home being on a cul-de-sac as opposed to being at the end of a cove. This particular neighborhood does have cul-de-sacs, and this location is not one of them. We appreciated the homeowner and having updated furnishings and fixtures, the use of their golf carts, and for being hospitable. Although I would not personally recommend this particular unit to a friend, I recognize I have some preferences, but probably because we have known this area for 15 years.

I let Beach Blue know but they never came and addressed the issue, so if you need two carts I would look elsewhere.

Fun in Laurel Cove.

This was the first time to stay in this particular house. It was perfect. Very clean and only a short stroll to the pool. There was room to park both vehicles and room for both golf carts. The golf carts came in real handy. Only minutes to nice restaurants, shopping and the beach. We hope to book this one next season.

Great family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have spent Thanksgiving in the Sandestin Resort for 30 years. Over the past few years, we have taken over the Laurel Grove neighborhood. This year we had 8 different units in the neighborhood, with around 50 people in attendance. We really had a great time. The neighborhood pool is heated, so swimming in November was very comfortable. Fishing in neighborhood lakes was fun. Golf carting around the entire property was fantastic. I have 2 kids that have added "Golf Cart" to their Christmas lists.

Great neighborhood, clean house

Beach Blue Properties is great to work with. This was our second stay through them and we will continue to book with them. The property was clean, the location was great, everyone enjoyed themselves. The only thing I would warn is to bring hangers and pillows. The room only had one pillow per person, even our hotel on the way there and back had two per person. We asked Beach Blue to provide more, and they did, thankfully! However, we would have brought our own had we known. There were also limited hangers in the closets. Overall, the property provides what you need with starter supplies of everything. It's very clean, quiet, and relaxing. We would stay again in the future and will definitely return to the Sandestin area, renting through Beach Blue Properties.

Wonderful Trip!

Great location! The golf carts were a super plus for getting around. My 10 year old loved them! Ha This was our first year to stay in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort area. We will most definitely be back! The house was clean and perfect for us. We never had to buy ice, the ice maker made plenty. Beds were very comfortable. We brought our own chairs and umbrellas to the beach and it worked out great being up front and close. The only thing I could say was that the internet may need a new router. I was continuously having to unplug and reboot it. It lost signal A LOT! Thanks for sharing your place with us!! Hoping to book year two in a few weeks!!

The house was perfect for us and the golf carts were a huge hit. It was a bit frustrating that we called to have the propane tanks filled on Sunday and they said the maintenance staff would fill them on Monday. We called back on Wednesday because they still had not been filled and we were told they were filled on Monday (but they weren’t). On Friday morning my husband walked down the back porch steps and his foot went through the deck stair due to rot. Luckily he was okay, but it took that happening to get them to our place to bring new propane tanks. That was frustrating. Full disclosure: I am a little picky when it comes to cleanliness and this rental could use a deep clean. Lots of dust on decor throughout the house, behind furniture, and on the ceilings in the family rooms (cobwebs too!) I get the ceilings are high but there was quite a bit up there...

Cute property in great community!

Overall we had a great stay here! House was clean and updated. Kitchen was stocked fairly well. All the beds/mattresses were amazing! We slept well. Hall bath shower handle was broken on arrival, but beach blue was prompt in their response and had it fixed within a day. Front porch is not very inviting. Porch ceiling and walls/furniture were covered in dirt and bugs/cobwebs. It could use a good cleaning. Grill had three empty propane tanks, so we couldn’t use the grill on the day we intended, but they replaced the tank the next day, so should be good to go for next renters. Just fyi, the washer is great, but the dryer does not dry clothes well. We had to run it a few cycles to get our clothes dry. We had better luck with drying on the “easy care” setting. The golf carts were a nice amenity to have and we used them everyday. FYI, The orange one does not have a parking brake so it can roll on uneven surfaces. We just parked it in places where it wouldn’t roll, or we put something behind the wheel. The silver golf cart back seat is not secured so it can slide off. I would not put your Littles back there, and the safety rail on the front passenger side is loose. We did tell the management company so it can be addressed. The house is in a great community within the resort. Everyone we met was so nice and the pool was always fun.

Could be much better

First of all , for the high cleaning charge, everything should have been very clean. Stovetop was greasy and counter was filthy. A few other notes: 1. Too many fake plants! 2. Invest in a full size hair dryer, they are $20! 3. Even hotels have an extra roll of toilet paper. 4. Where do you purchase the mini dish soap? Makes more sense to buy the 99 cent dish soap and refill. If you are going to leave directions to run dishwasher then leave more than ONEdishwasher pod! That goes for the washer too. Dishwasher and dryer need to be replaced due to rust. Honestly, invest in some $25 Tommy Bahama beach chairs , they have them atCostco. I understand that they are not included but might as well be! Lastbut not least, if you are not going to have a drip coffee maker than either invest in the reusable pod where you can add your own coffee or leave a FEW, not one, kuerig pod or at least list that in the ad. We had a great time after I washed all the linens and cleaned the kitchen.
