The room was very clean and about average size. WiFi worked very well. The bed was comfortable. There was not a lot of water pressure in the shower but plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very basic with not many choices. I would stay here again if in the area.

Is the hotel furniture dated? Sure. The beds are memory foam and very comfortable. The staff is suuuuper nice and helpful when you need it. It is about 25 mins from Baxter State Park. And the best amenity?! THE CATS! There are 5 cats who live in the lobby and they are super fun to play with. They can't be let into the hotel area fyi if you are allergic like me so no worries there. Breakfast is a simple continental with cereal, breads, yogurt, coffee etc.

I knew it was an older motel, but I was disappointed by the beds, the old style bedspreads, the old/stale smell of the room, and the quality of the breakfast. We had to ask for a space heater because the heat had been turned off for the season. They have 5 cats that live in the lobby, so beware if you are allergic.

The property is outdated but clean and well taken care of. Staff are very friendly. The complimentary breakfast is adequate. Given that it’s the highest rated place in the area, this was my second time staying here and had a similar experience both times. A clean budget hotel that’s a bit dated. In a place with more options I’d probably opt for something else for the price but it works great for trips to Baxter State Park and I’d stay here again.
