« This was one of the worst places for cleanliness we have ever stayed in. Unfortunately the cleaner is very young and has probably never been shown how to clean properly. The people who run the place obviously don't check the rooms properly. The towels smelt like they had been washed in cooking oil. One morning my husband asked for a clean cup as we could clearly see it was not clean and the person said whatever in a matter of fact way. I have plenty of photographs for evidence of this. »

« A notre grande surprise, la chambre ne possède ni salle de bain ni wc privatifs ce qui n'est précisé nulle part dans l'offre de réservation. il y a une salle de bain "familiale" (avec produits de douche entamés) sur le palier. l'entrée de l'hôtel se fait par un pub et si celui-ci est fermé, l'accès et la sortie de l'hôtel se fait par la porte de secours!!! la chambre est plutôt vieillotte avec une moquette abîmée. Le soir (et ce tous les soirs de la semaine a priori), un groupe de rock se prduit...

« Good car parking space, comfortable bed, could maybe do with modernising but overall not a bad stay. 1 downside was there was a bit of noice as it’s just off the A12 and the doors rattled. »

« We stayed in this property for 5 days (December 11 to 16). On checking out, we asked for the total fee for our parking our vehicle for the 5 nights. We were told it costs £8 a night and to pay using the machine at the gate. We did. We paid £40 for the 5 nights. We got home, and received a £60 "fine" for parking at this hotel, even though we paid, we have the receipt and it shows in our credit card. We got another £60 admin fee charged by our car rental company to our card for this same...

« The hotel was fine, and the only reason for a lower rating was the noise at night. It was some sort of boiler or extractor that turned on throughout the night every half hour and resulted in an awful nights sleep. »

« No private parking just on street free parking to front if you are lucky to get it if not close by to a public car park. Lovely quiet warm room with comfy bed. Lovely to get the breakfast bit's in with the room Didnt use Tassimo coffee maker as wasnt very clean so told staff, very squeaky floorboards !!! »
