Absolutely. I’d make it firm but fair, especially since you’ve been going to Camelback for more than 10 years—that gives useful context that you’ve seen the resort at its best. I have been coming to Camelback for over 10 years, and unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing visits I’ve had. To start, the wait just to check in was 2½ hours, which is completely unacceptable for a resort. After paying for a stay and a resort fee, I was also disappointed to find that parking is not included. I really don’t understand why guests are charged an additional parking fee on top of a resort fee. The water park itself also did not seem to be maintained at the level I remember from previous years. Several rides were down during our visit, and the lazy river was especially disappointing. Its overall appearance was not good, and it seemed like much of the water flow had been shut off, which took away from the experience. I have continued returning to Camelback for more than a decade because my family and I have enjoyed it over the years. Unfortunately, this visit did not live up to the experience we have come to expect. With the prices guests are paying, I believe the resort needs to improve the check-in process, reconsider the additional parking charge, and make sure the water park attractions are properly maintained and fully operating.
