« Great environment, and Hiram is a very friendly host. Our family of 4 has stayed at the "bridge cottage" (unit "109" out of 8 (?)) for 2 nights, in a very relaxing place (forest/pond/pool). We were looking for a place to rest between big cities' craziness and the cottage was a perfect fit. Wifi was terrible though, barely functional. As long as you don't mind an overall rustic/shabby feel, you'll probably have as good a time here as we did. Worth noting, Hiram answered all our questions really...

« The cabin had all the amenities needed and so many extras! Books galore, games, puzzles, hidden activities, and even a foosball table! There was a log for the fire pit so we were able to have a beautiful fire on the 4th of July. The peacefully serene lakeside setting made morning coffee time a time to relax my whole nervous system. We saw baby deer and heard the songs of the birds and frogs. It really was magical! »

The first week was characterized by rain, rain, rain, but we needed rest, rest, rest, so we made a fire (it was actually chilly) and ventured out only for food. The area food choices are AWESOME! If you drew a 20 mile circle around the area, you’d be amazed at the quality of food choices available. We hiked in the area, visited Bushkill Falls, and met kind folks all over the area. We had a very nice time. »
