« this b&B sits right acrossed from the river with a boardwalk that goes all the way to lake michigan. The boardwalk also has points of interest, restraunts along the way. It is also only 2 short blocks to the shopping area that have cool little shops, restraunts, bars, coffee shops, bakery, etc. the inn itself doesnt have an elavator that the guests can use, it doesn't say that on the website, which made getting to the room (3rd floor) challanging. « The property is a well kept 100+ year old house. Beautiful woodwork, beautiful furnishings, plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy your time at the B&B when you are not out in town. The neighborhood was so quiet, away from the busy part of the town. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here, and we will be back. Our Hostess was absolutely charming and welcoming. 5 Stars for sure. »

« On arrival we were greeted by Nadia who is the Inn Keeper. She was most gracious and had suggestions for places to eat and things to do. We were very pleased about the proximity to the downtown area and how walk able it was, the harbor is so close. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast every morning was excellent. There was an Espresso machine available for any coffee needs at any time, very nice! The Inn was well appointed with lovely,comfortable furniture and the wrap around...
