"Our stay was fine for the short time we were there as a place to lay our heads but for the price we paid I was a little disappointed. "This hotel has a great location just outside Colchester in the University Campus. Lovely staff - very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast, but limited dinner options for the vegetarian /vegans. Our room in the old part of the hotel was nicely decorated but had an odd layout and an uncomfortable bed. I was told the new wing of the hotel is better. Notwithstanding that, it was a good stay and great value for money."
