Welcome to River Song, a sanctuary hidden among the ferns of Warburton — where forest, river, and spirit meet.

This character-filled weatherboard retreat is set on over half an acre of private, rainforest gardens, directly opposite the Yarra River. It’s a space lovingly prepared to help you slow down, reconnect with nature, and return to your inner quiet.

Affectionately called 'Temple of the Green Veil' by the Wheel Property Team, the home offers:

Two calming bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen), each with forest outlooks

A reading/day bed in the lounge for quiet reflection or an extra guest

A fireplace for cosy nights (BYO firewood)

Fully equipped kitchen with cooktop, oven, and island bench

Beautiful River Song...a haven by the river

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We relaxed completely at River Song. The river is just steps away and it is only a short walk into town. The deep spa bath was a highlight and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Di was beyond helpful and so delightful to deal with.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Riversong cottage exceeded our expectations. Its cosy, beautifully decorated and the owner has gone the extra mile into making the space a spiritual haven. We felt at home. The location is great with the Yarra River just across the road, and within walking distance to the main town of Warburton with its quaint cafes and shops. Kitchen is very well stocked with all you'll ever need and the beds are super comfortable and excellent quality. We will definitely be back, highly recommend.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely old house renovated very well. A few odd improvements are required which I have passed on directly to the management company, but apart from that all good. Heating (winter stay) was good. Very tight to get through the front gates, and a 6 point turn to get around again at the top (unless you want to reverse all the way which is not recommended).
