I’m not into fancy furnishings and showy houses, but I am a sucker for a fabulous view. Mon Desir won my heart by being beautifully designed, clean, tastefully furnished, full of character and having a wonderful view of neighbouring foothills/small mountains. I would love to know if they have names. There is a balcony to the bedrooms on the first floor with an even better view than below. I’d love to come back! I must have seen twenty-seven kangaroos in a short ten minute stroll down the street, and king parrots every day in the garden. ##### Genevieve T. Beautiful setting looking out at the hills. Very quiet with only the birds in the morning and kangaroos across the road feeding. As the weather was awful we hibernated, relaxing in the comfortable lounge with the fire going and a wine or two! The bedrooms were large and very comfortable.
