The space
Built in 1948 by William Lewis Moody Jr., The Ranch House consists of three limestone suites that still look like they are a part of history. This building was made out of limestone by William Lewis Moody Jr., who also built the famous University of Texas at Austin. The limestone bricks come from the same quarry that built the LB Johnson Library, a stunning display of architecture. You can relax and unwind in the gorgeous Ranch House, exploring the historical site during your stay.

Perched high on a hill overlooking the gorgeous TX Hill Country sits the most stunning resort houses you ever did see. With a mix of artsy touches, this space and resort is gorgeous. The home is tucked into a pocket of nature surrounded by oaks, elms, and junipers. The home sits in front of the incredible sunset view across the hills. The resort amenities, include pool and hot tub, as well as hiking trails, are the icing on the cake!

This resort has it all. Directly out your front door is a killer view. The Ranch House living area feels cozy, yet spacious, overlooking the rolling hills.

The Overlook observation deck is the best place to experience the grand expanse of the scenery. With the second-tallest view of the Texas Hill Country, you’ll want to grab a camera so you never forget the beautiful landscape.

Our beautiful gift shop and lodge has everything you need (and don’t need) for your stay. Whether you want a souvenir to take home or just crave some snacks, visit the shop to grab what you need. You can also relax in the gorgeous lodge and enjoy the view (or a drink).

Our entire resort has many beautiful hiking trails. We have over 2 miles of hiking trails in Texas Hill Country. So grab your walking shoes and feel free to get lost in the stunning woods around the site.

As you explore the resort, you can spend a peaceful day by the water with a rod in hand. You will need a fishing license to fish in Robertson Creek which is on the property. Get ready for a tranquil adventure.

While this Suite makes an ideal spot for a romantic getaway, honeymoon, wedding night, or anniversary, it’s also wonderful for a family or small group of friends. We welcome all!
