« Host could have at least provided water of some sort. Smelled musty, no dishes or utensils not even cups for coffee, if I wanted to do dishes couldn't even do that as there was not kitchen towels or wash cloths provided. Fire pit but no wood. I'm not sure what a cleaning fee is for. There is nothing to clean. Beds are just mattresses on floor with fitted sheet. Overall 0 stars »

« Spent our daylight hours chasing grouse. Cabin was great, mini split hvac allowed for comfort in every room. Good Wi-Fi and overall very comfortable »

« My wife, two Labradors and I had a wonderful stay at the Stone House. The location was convenient to many local attractions. The house exceeded our expectations! Plenty of room, decent WIFI, AC for the hot days. There were water toys for the lake. Our dogs loved swimming in the lake each day and taking walks. It's difficult to find a rental that will allow two larger dogs and we are grateful to have found this place. We will happily return to Stone House for another visit. »

« We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin. We loved having everything we needed at the cabin such as, paper towels, toilet paper, and laundry supplies. It is stocked with towels and cooking supplies as well. The owner was responsive and friendly. »

« My husband and I enjoyed four days at this lovely lakefront cabin. The property is well outfitted and comfortable for a couple or a larger family or group of friends. It is also well situated for heading out for day trips to explore many of the recreational and scenic locations in the region. Beginning each day with coffee on the porch and relaxing with cocktails while watching the sunset was extra special too. »

« Great location just a short drive to town and 10 miles to the Rocks on Lake Superior. Upon arrival, we were early for check in, we were greeted by Joan and her faithful companion, Cocoa. « We stayed with a group of five, including two kids (3 and 7). The cabin was clean, had all the amenities needed to keep kids and adults entertained and fed. Being centrally located was a big plus. I fully expect we will return next year. »

« Nice clean, cozy cabin setting with plenty of room for our group of six. Nice property for a short morning walk. Great location to access the attractions in the central and eastern UP. Excellent communication with the owner. Was very accommodating with rescheduling our trip. Definitely on our list for a return trip. »

« Went on our annual fishing trip to the UP. The place is amazing and the hosts are top notch. This place has everything you could want and more. We can’t wait to come back. Best VRBO we have ever stayed at. Wish I could give it more stars because they deserve it. »

« As our first trip to the UP and randomly choosing Grand Marais and this home to stay in, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. House is cute, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The view is gorgeous and water access is a few footsteps away. Robin left some local goodies as a welcome gift and stopped by to introduce herself and had some helpful tips for us. This was just the getaway our family needed. Lots of wonderful memories made this week! »
