"Recently renovated. Beds very comfortable. I did miss having carpeting in the bedroom. Many of the renovations were very poorly done. The management should have them back to fix things properly. I.e. The shower surround does not align with the edge of the tub, the flooring seams are not evenly matched and where the old blue tile was painted over, there are multiple chips. Rooms need some attention to detail. Also, their website said breakfast was Inincluincluded"

Our room did have some loose wall covering and the toilet ran multiple times throughout the night… so there are some routine maintenance issues that need to be addressed. "The bed was SUPER soft. Welles we got here there was a homeless drunk (the desk clerks words) passed out in the bench just outside the front door. DEFINITELY a turn off. We pulled in thinking that we should cut our losses and find a different motel. But we took the chance. The room was clean, besides the mouse poop behind the chair. The guy who check us in was SUPER NICE! He’s the about the only reason why we did stay. "

"The listing was so accurate, however the wildlife in the backyard was more than I could’ve hoped for. Sitting by the fire (they even provided wood, love!) and watching deer eat and bats fly by and we even got a woodpecker visitor. It’s nice and quiet all around and only 15 minutes from bigger towns. Sucks it rained most of the time and couldn’t do much exploring, but I think that was the universe telling us to take a break and relax. Stacy is so kind, they even left cute little chocolate bars...

"We stayed here one night only but wished we could move in!!! A lot of love and care was put into this beautifully updated lakeside place. We had anything and everything we could possibly need including handy bicycles to get around and a well stocked Kitchen for breakfast! The four of us friends have stayed in many VRBO’s and this one is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed. Thank you Tony for a great experience on the last evening of our trip."
