What's more, there is access to a small private garden. Parking is also available at Winster South Car Park (near the Miners Standard Pub), about a 5-minute walk to the property. The Neighborhood: Winster is a beautiful village with cobbled streets and charming stone cottages. Why not take a leisurely stroll through the village to enjoy its historic atmosphere. The old village pump is a lovely historical feature that provides a glimpse into the village’s past. The Winster Trail is a lovely circular walk that allows you to explore the surrounding countryside and enjoy the beauty of the Peak District. A short walk from Winster is the neighbouring village of Birchover, offering spectacular views over the surrounding hills and valleys. It's a great opportunity for a longer hike through the Peak District's stunning terrain. A short drive of 10 miles is Chatsworth House, one of the most famous stately homes in the UK. You can explore the grand estate, including the beautiful gardens, maze, and art collection. The house is often considered one of the finest examples of English stately homes, and only a short drive from Bradley House it is most definitely worth a visit. Getting Around: Winster is a picturesque village in the Derbyshire Dales, located on the edge of the Peak District. Although it's a small, rural village, there are some public transport options available to help you get around and explore the surrounding areas. Winster is served by several local bus routes that connect the village with nearby towns such as Matlock, Bakewell, and Ashbourne. The bus services are generally operated by local companies like High Peak Buses and Derbyshire Community Transport. The closest train station is Matlock, located around 5 miles from Winster. Matlock is connected to the national rail network via Matlock Railway Station, which is located just a short walk from the town centre. The station is served by East Midlands Railway and provides direct services to several destinations in the region including Derby, Nottingham and Manchester.
