About this property

The Four Angels - Massa, Tuscany

  • A charming country house in the hills just above Massa. Immersed in chestnut forests and surrounded by magnificent mountain and sea views. Only 5 minutes' drive to Massa centre (10 minutes by bus) and 15 minutes to the beaches. At 300 m above sea level, with a lovely garden, the place is cool in the summer heat, but warm during the winter.

    If you would like to enjoy sunny beach life during the day and cool mountain breeze back at home in the evening, our holiday home is just right for you. The Province of Massa-Carrara is situated on the border with Liguria. From our holiday home, you can explore Tuscan popular sightseeing spots like Firenze, Pisa, Lucca and even enjoy Lerici, Portovenere and Cinque Terre in a day trip.
    This holiday home is also great staging post for mountain climbers, mountain bike enthusiasts and hikers who love forest trails and walks. Plenty of nature to see and a lovely stream to cool off in is nearby.

    This holiday home is developed over two floors. The first floor has a terrace and kitchen. Upstairs in an open plan style, one finds a spacious double bed, and a comfortable sofa which folds into a double bed in the lounge. It is all one large room upstairs(no doors in between). Bathroom is located just beside the lounge. It's small but functional. Very bright with a ceiling window.

    Ideal for couples, even with max 2 small children, or 4 adults who do not mind sharing the one large room upstairs(Please note that there's no wall/door between the bedroom and the lounge).

    The place is not suitable for people with walking disabilities.
    We have a reserved car park on the village road, within 5 minutes walk from the holiday home.
