About this property
Grandmother's Ranch House
Enjoy a peaceful vacation in the Texas Hill Country at Grandmother's!
A short drive down a country dirt road, Grandmother's Ranch House is on an actively worked ranch in the Texas Hill Country. This Ranch House located about 15 minutes from Mason, TX in the community of Streeter.
Guests will enjoy a rural 3 bedroom/ 2 bath ranch house. The outdoor patio is great for relaxing and enjoying nature's beauty and Texas wildlife. The house is equipped with wifi and a smart tv, but remember you are coming to the country to escape technology! Cellular service is spotty.
Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The sky is breath-taking at night. Because of the void of city lights, the stars really put on a show. If you are lucky you will see wild turkey and white-tail deer at the feeder in front of the house. Birders will enjoy the many song birds that make the ranch their home. Hummingbirds come up to the kitchen windows. Raccoons, squirrels, armadillos, rabbits, and owls may also make an appearance. Cattle graze lazily in the pastures. Enjoy the life that your grandparents lived when things were a slower pace with beauty all around.

We love staying at the Ranch House! We've stayed here several times here and this is and will be our go to when we travel to Mason. The house is so roomy and comfortable and you can't beat the scenery. We always see lots of wildlife. Can't wait to be back on the Ranch!
Wonderful accommodations that are exactly as advertised. If you want an authentic Ranch life experience, with wild game, livestock, rugged scenery, beautiful sunsets and sunrises this is the right spot!
This is our second stay at The Ranch House. We love staying at this property and watching all the wildlife. The kitchen is great and very well stocked. The rest of the house is so cozy. The beds are super comfortable and sleep great. It’s such a beautiful property and we can’t wait to come back!
It was a great old home with many features that take you back in time to see how life was spent on a working ranch. Brett and his family are good people and great to work with. I highly recommend this house for anyone wanting to get off the grid for a bit but still likes the conveniences of home.
We loved staying at this house. It was very comfortable and well stocked. It was a fun house to explore - lots of unique pieces to admire. The hosts are great with communication and it was fun to meet them and get the history of the house. Very accommodating hosts. We look forward to staying here again.
We have stayed here now twice. We absolutely love this house and the energy it brings. We had 3 couples and never felt cramped. Large kitchen and living space. We spent a lot of time on the back patio. Great location for Wolf Caves!
This was our third stay, this old farm house is perfect, especially if you are rock crawling at Wild Caves or K-2 rock parks. House is very well set up and has everything you need. I will most definitely be back soon.
This place is incredible! We absolutely loved everything about it. The rooms all were large with full accommodations. The kitchen in the home is great and the views are incredible. We stayed here for an event at Wolf Caves and it so close we never even had to air the tires back up on the Jeeps. I would stay here again 100%.
This old home is beautiful inside and out...the property managers were amazing....so many extras to make it super special!!! Wildlife views all around! 🦌🦃 Anazing family retreat!
