"First and foremost was the evening Desk Clerk. (Patrice) She was absolutely OUTSTANDING. She greeted with a smile. answered every question. Made dining recommendations. We checked in placed our luggage in the room then went out-to-eat; passing the Front Desk she called me by name and made sure that our room met our expectations. Very uncommon in this day and age to find someone that goes over and beyond w/ their work ethics. I asked for the name and contact information for the Hotel's General Manager. I will write a letter of commendation for " Patrice " The room was larger than I expected, very clean. The bathroom was huge, jacuzzi tub that would acomidate up to four (4) people. The breakfast was above average; the microwave did not work and the gravy was only a degree above luke warm. However, the breakfast area was well stocked, there was a staff on-duty making sure the coffee was always fresh, the food was always stocked. Wiping down tables and counter tops. Another outstanding employee. Always working to make sure her area was PERFECT. HVAC was funtional. I chose this Hotel due to its proximity to the interstate, fuel, restaurants, etc. and was NOT disappointed. I would gladly stay at this Hotel anytime and recommend it to other. GREAT JOB Comfort I & S."

"Absolutely a diamond in the rough! I have always love older historical homes and this one is just beautiful. Lots of upgrades without losing the original design. We only need a one night for wedding at The Corry House which is only 5 minutes away!"

"This property exceeded our expectations. The house was very clean and comfortable. The distance to the water for short and it was an easy walk, not very steep. There were so many little extra features of the home, yard and dock area. We felt like we were in our happy place all weekend. We even had an imaginary visitor, Sasquatch! Just kidding, it was a cutout, but we liked him! The little things added so much to our experience. There were cozy throw blankets. And pillows in the living room.The kitchen was stocked with very nice cookware and appliances. The dock had a swing and other seating. We have already booked our next visit, and we feelLike we are already good friends with our hosts."
