Although it was an hour from the park gate, the drive was beautiful. This was my 4th time staying here. Rooms are immaculate and beds are extremely comfortable. This is not the Ritz ... that said, a very reliable and excellent value in one of the most pleasant, quaint, historic and fun Yosemite gateway communities that there is. Every single front desk staff member we met was so kind and helpful. There’s a nice outdoor hot tub and pool, washer / dryer ($2 wash, $2.50 dry)—the front desk can exchange cash for quarters. Lots of international families staying there too, loved that! My boys played Marco Polo with a French boy and a German family.
