We checked in around 11pm, and an envelope with our name on it (along with a nice little hand-drawn picture!) that included our room information. Nobody was stationed at the office but 24/7 phone service was available and the nice lady gave us all the info we needed. Doors are unlocked, windows are open and keys are found within the room after we enter. I’m assuming this is a pretty safe town that they are able to do that. The room is very clean and my favorite part is that the pillows are not uncomfortably puffy/stuffy like many other hotels, so I slept really well! Mariposa is a wonderful city with great food and awesome hospitality. About an hour drive to Yosemite is the only negative thing. It’s an average hotel, window A/C is outdated for hotels and the hotel room gets warm in May.
