« The cabin was as described! Very private and very cozy. The instructions to get there were very clear as well. The mattress seemed outdated and the window ac unit was right behind the bed but overall it was a great stay. Great price for the weekend! »

« We really enjoyed our stay. The host is quite helpful, communicative, and thoughtful. The house is actually a bit bigger than appears in the photos. We rented the pontoon, used the grill, and enjoyed sitting outside. We fished from both the pontoon and the dock. We also tied the provided raft to the pontoon so we could use while swimming in the lake. Our dog loved the stay also! »

« Whispering Oaks Cottage was the perfect home for a great family vacation. Everything in the home suited our family's needs. The deck was a great space to sit and view the lake when we weren't down at the small beach or in the lake. Cable Lake was calm and peaceful. The kayaks and peddle boat available to use were great amenities. Alison was very responsive and helpful. We would love to go back to this lovely home. »

« We loved our stay at the “lake house”! It was a perfect location and offered us the ability to enjoy the quiet lake but also close enough to get into town and Lake Michigan. The kitchen was beautifully updated and had a gorgeous view of the lake from the big windows. My kids loved fishing off the dock and finding little turtles. We will definitely be back again! »

« Quiet, clean and cozy place. Perfect for our girls’ getaway! Owners were very friendly, responsive and great communication. This is a rural area, so you have to drive to get to the towns in the area but all within 15 minutes. The 2nd bathroom shower is small, but clean and nice. The cottage has AC units in each room, but we liked having separate temperatures for each area. We would definitely stay again! »
