This chalet is very close to slopes, yet removed enough to feel like you're staying at some hidden mountain retreat. The chalet was spacious with two good sized bedrooms downstairs and a bed/bath upstairs. The kitchen had almost everything you could require for cooking and/or entertaining - along with a full dining room area. The fireplace was excellent. It's great that firewood is provided. We found the beds to be comfortable. Plenty of towels were provided. The chalet appears to be in original condition - so it could use some interior upgrades. The carpet is pretty worn and there was a broken door in the kitchen and closet. Also it could benefit from some new furniture. I understand this is a mountain retreat, but the sofas in the living room were not comfortable. The location itself is great. It's close to everything, yet far enough away so that you feel like you're having a true mountain experience. ##### Karen T.
