"First time to Male and I should have done more research. I figured the location being close to the beach would be great but phase ii island is under lots of construction and doesn't have the services that phase I has so this is a great location if you want steps. "Una delle settimane più belle della nostra vita di vagabondi viaggiatori. Ci siamo trovati benissimo , come in famiglia, coccolati e guidati in tutto. Esperienze meravigliose con Chuck che ci ha permesso di vedere squali balena, mante, tartarughe e una varietà infinita di pesci e coralli, in uno scenario da favola. "The hotel in general exceeded my expectations. As a road warrior I typically end up staying at Hampton inn type properties. Unima Grand is the Hampton inn of Male. Great familiar like environment to make you feel comfortable. The staff connected via WhatsApp prior to arrival at to make the transfer from the airport to hotel seamless. Check in was smooth with formalities filled out while I waited at the airport. Breakfast and the on site restaurant was exceptional! Lots of fresh local offerings at a very good price. Only 2 areas for improvement. Wifi was limited to 1 device at a time. My door had some issue with the lock. Possibly a low battery. Again, nothing really to complain about."
