The service and rooms are excellent for a hostel in this area. The streets outside aren't very clean, but that comes with heavy foot traffic and crowds of tourists, and it's outside the staff's control. If you're traveling light and want to stay close to old Madrid, the location is very convenient. It's not quiet, and it's not a chain hotel, but it gets the job done.

This hotel was in a great location and it was right in the middle of the old city so you could walk anywhere. Staff were great, the only thing is depending on the room you book there are windows in the rooms but they are frosted and you can’t see out. Overall I would recommend it for sure.

The hotel has the best location, really close to Puerta del Sol and therefore, close to Gran Via, Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel, etc. Staff is really helpful and accommodating. Fast responses for any inquiry or service requested. I definitely will stay there again.

The room was clean, with enough space to accommodate 4 people. Breakfast was at a nearby restaurant (1 minute walk from the hotel), which was convenient for us. Staff was quite helpful with recommendations about location of nearby laundry and other amenities. Overall a good experience and great value for money.

Room was clean, staffs were very kind and welcoming, and the breakfast in the near tapas bar was also nice. The location is also very close to the Sol plaza, very safe and recommandable for travelers. And also recommandable for solo travelers as well!!

The breakfasts are provided at a restaurant around the corner from the hotel. The food is very good and tasty. They offer a choice of tostas in which I asked for the one with pork paté and carmelized onions. There is an AC unit in the room and I was very comfortable.
