Ive stayed here before. Rooms are nice because they have a desk kitchen snd couch. Bed was not good. We stayed here because our ac went out. I called and confirmed pet friendly booked and paid for the room only to arrive and be told its $100 pet fee. Thats not fair or ok.

Overall, I am glad that we only stayed at this property for one night. It is a property has great "hardware" - building, space, style (and potentially history and stories) but reall fell short on "soft" side as to service and management. No matter the lobby or our room, especially the carpert and bathroom, really left us a feeling of not clean. It is a pity that such a nice building and spacious place are not well maintained and well managed. The location of the property is also very nice with easy access to Forest Park. It can be better, much better.
