« We only stayed a couple of nights to visit with family who were in Cape Charles for a week. This house was perfect for our family. Clean, beautiful, well appointed, comfortable beds, wonderful hosts. The location was great - less than one block to the beach and a short walk to town. I parked and did not drive again until we left. The screened front porch was a great spot for family to gather. I adore this house!! »

« The stay was great if you don’t mind cameras watching you. Propane tank was empty, couldn’t sit on balcony because straw would go up my ass from the crappy chairs. Stove top was dirty with mysterious fluid. It was what it was. Plenty to do in area. Plenty of undersize crab available- we threw them back. »

« We came to the area for our granddaughter’s graduation and it was only minutes from the high school. It was in close proximity to quite a few good restaurants and downtown Mathews! The host was quick to reply to any questions or comments that we had. If the opportunity presented itself, we would definitely stay here again! »

« Property was great. Loved the heated floor. There is a coffee maker not a keurig— would bring items for coffee if it’s a must. Could hear some noise from the pub next door but it did not last past 9pm. Clean and located such that you could walk right to the Main Street. »

« We have stayed at numerous VRBO properties, but this was one of the best. Unlike some other houses, this host has stocked many items for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Especially in the kitchen, there were numerous staples provided for those who forgot or were unprepared. Games and activities abound, both inside and out. The only frustration was with all the remotes to the TV. Never did figure out the Bose speakers so just used the TV speakers. But we rate this a 10-star home:-). »

« Sip Into Sunset was a wonderful getaway! The cottage is well-stocked with just about everything you could imagine needing (except ice- bring that!) and the sunsets were *amazing*! The list of "favorite features" includes fenced yard for dogs, well-stocked kitchen and bar, comfy beds, lots of great places to hang out and enjoy the view- dock, screened porch, sunroom. Best memory is catching blue crabs off the dock on our last day and enjoying them for happy hour. Was a wonderful visit and we will...

« The property was as described in the listing. It was peaceful, relaxing and secluded. We traveled with our three teenage kids and dogs. The kids absolutely loved the pool and our dogs were immediately relaxed. We were able to catch blue crabs off of the dock, no luck in fishing but that was probably more us then the area. Would absolutely return to the rental. It was an amazing break from a hectic life. Thank you for sharing your place with us. »

« My sisters, mom and I decided that cape Charles was a half way point to meet for a long weekend. The house was more affordable than others, it had a nice layout with a few places to sit and hang out. Our favorite was the sun room. Furniture is outdated but the space was perfect and we enjoyed our coffee there. The outdoor seating was great as well and we spent a few evenings out there as well . A short walk to town and a short walk to The beach. Parking was fine on the street for all 3 cars....
