This day of hiking was filled with plenty of up and down sections.  As well, it was the longest stretch of a four day/50 mile journey.  However, the sound of the oceans laughter, the feel of the sun's breath and the feast of vistas fuelled our perseverance making the hiking easier.

My oldest brother and his wife, Colleen, are the veterans of hiking in the area and were the generous hosts of the trip.  Their good qualities are in great abundance and perseverance is certainly one of them.

With 97 percent of the world's water being in the ocean, it is not surprising that we find ourselves in the sea.  Our great Mother comprises over 90% of the Earth's habitable space and is home to 50-80% of all life on the planet.  It also produces more than 50% of the oxygen we need to breathe in order to live.  We might want to consider taking better care of it.

The hiking party, seen here enjoying the beach of Lydstep, is the embodiment of perseverance and all of its members well accomplished (excluding me...I'm a bit of a bohemian good at wasting the day away...but I like it that way).
