"I never write reviews on anything. I always try to be positive and be the one who looks at the glass half full instead of empty.. but with this place I had to write one. This property would’ve been a great place to stay in the early 90s. Everything was so outdated, which is fine with my family and I if they kept up on cleaning the property and rooms. We had burn holes in one of the bed linens. One roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. Disgusting place. Pool was cold. No hot tub. Staff was alright. Asked for a later check out we were told 1230\. We had a cleaning lady open the door up at noon without knocking first. Scared the crap out of my daughter. Then the lady wanted to proceed to argue with me telling me nobody from the front desk told her we were checking out late. I hope they figure it out, Sooner than later. It really left a bad impression on ever staying in the grayling area again. I would drive right past this town and stay in Gaylord. "

"First off there are signs everywhere stating that you will be charged a $250 cleaning fee if your room smells like smoke. The whole hotel smells like stale smoke. Especially in the rooms. We literally were watched and listened too. Had our lock on the keyed door changed while we were out at a funeral. Came back to a lock that our key no longer fit in. And neither did the master key. The attendant had to call the owner which told him where to find a key to get us into our room. We were pissed. They refunded our money and we left. Luckily we were able to go down the road to a way better hotel! Stay at the Mio Motel!! It's way better. Cleaner, friendlier, and they beds are super comfy. "

"Awesome place. You're in a depression with most neighbors above you so very nice. The creek is nice. The only bad part was the whole area was ice due to the storms. We actually got stuck trying they up the hill. Oweners had us out in an hr. Very nice.Would be an awesome place to stay in good weather. Will try again in the summer."
